Turnberry Apartments has been a wonderful experience! My apartment was clean and beautifully renovated, making my move-in process very easy. The staff have been consistently friendly, helpful, and quick to address any needs. The grounds, pool, gym, and playground are always kept clean and neat. My only suggestion for improvement would be the addition of security cameras on the property. Overall, my time at Turnberry Apartments has been fantastic, and I really enjoy living here!

The real downside to these particular apartments is that there is no carpet in the units, so you can hear everything from the people above and below. The walls are quite thin, too. I can literally hear my neighbor yawn every morning. Don’t believe me? Come spend the night and you’ll see.

Had Duane out to fix some amenities in our apartment. He was quick and efficient on the parts that needed replacement and was very friendly during his visit. One thing I will mention is that the QR code on the card that Duane left sent me to just a Google search of the apartments so I don’t know where I was supposed to leave this, I’d recommend your QR code go straight to the site that you guys want reviews to appear on.

I wanted to leave feedback for maintenance done in my apartment. Duane was super prompt and fixed a dial that broke off the washing machine, and replaced a missing screw which was causing it to rock back and forth while in use. He also fixed a leaky faucet about a week earlier! I really appreciated his help — you hear a lot of nightmare stories about apartments being bad about fixing things when tenants need help but he was super helpful and knowledgable!

Moved in a few weeks ago and Carli (one of the leasing managers) made our move in and application so smooth, simple, and stress free. Every-time we come in she makes sure that we are taken care of. We have had a few maintenance requests made (which is expected) and the problems/issues are always resolved the next day. We are waiting for a part for our washing machine but the leasing office has stayed in contact and kept us up to date. The pool is a good size and located in a nice area for all the residents. There is plenty of parking and kids play outside on bikes all the time which help make it feel a sense of community. I would definitely recommend these apartments if you’re looking for anything in the area!

What can I say. I’ve been living here for almost a year, never had any issues, and the ones that I did have were taken care of fast. With the pool and gym open I’m sure it will even be more pleasant to be living here. The only downside is the rent is a little pricey, but, I think everywhere the same.

The staff at turnberry is very helpful and usually very knowledgeable of any issues or problems in the community. One thing I didn’t love about the townhome I live in is that it looks very new when first walked through, but after living here for a year I’ve noticed a lot of the things are simply a facelift on older things in the townhome. Overall, not a bad community to live in.

I just wanted to say that Carli has helped me more than any body and was able to get me in right away. She was able to multitask three other people and was able to get us all in an immediate moving. I don't understand why somebody would even post something negative about her. I've been here going on 2 years and love this community. Yes there's been lots of changes, construction, on road and community but the staff now is the best, answer back quickly, understanding and compassionate. I got one of the updated units and it's beautiful. The size and layout is great. The location is perfect, anything and everything close by and I couldn't ask for anything more. Yes there are lots of additions when signing the contract but compared to owning you own home, it's not a deal breaker. I would have to pay that and more in my own home and maintaining it, well you don't have to. Give them a shot. I guarantee you'll like it.

I have lived at Turnberry for a year now, and my experience here has been nothing but wonderful. The great experience started when I applied over a year ago, and lasts throughout my stay. The ladies at the front office are top notch. They truly recruited me (and good people in general) to call Turnberry home. I greatly appreciate the personal touch by the front office, unlike many other apartments, screening tenants strictly via their computer systems. The apartments here are a little pricey, but totally worth it, considering the great maintenance, safe neighborhood, good management team, recently upgraded roof and facelift, and great location next to 2 big parks. I truly love it here.

I’ve only lived here for a few weeks, but I love it so far. The townhomes are huge and the fully renovated ones are gorgeous. I have a partially renovated unit and it’s also great. Tony made the application and move-in process very simple. So far my maintenance requests have been answered within 2-3 days. My only minor issue is that sometimes it can be difficult to the the leasing office on the phone.

Before deciding to tour here, I decided to look at the reviews first. I quickly found that a lot of the negative reviews seemed to be you problems, not the properties problems. If you rent an apartment, you should know that you pay for utilities and in Utah it's very common to pay for media packages. If you don't like paying for these things, buy a home. Oh wait, you would pay for them in a home too. Upon touring the community, I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and overall look of the grounds. The staff was so great to work with and answered all of my questions with ease. I am looking forward to living here with the new fitness center once it's finished. I love when communities see when things need to be upgraded and put in the time and work to do so. It shows they really care about the residents.

So far so good! Moved in under some circumstances outside of my control, however Tony at the office was very accommodating and helpful. He took some time out of his busy schedule to make sure that everything went smoothly. There's a bunch of exciting improvements going on that are turning out great! Sure there's a lot of nasty reviews from people who don't like change, but compared with some other housing companies in this current market, this one is really reasonable and helpful so far. Looking forward to living out the lease here.

So, I’ve read the other reviews, and they’re not entirely wrong. Since AMC buying the property, there have been a lot of fairly significant rent increases (ours included), new fees (not necessarily hidden - they’re pretty up front about them), and added services that no one really cares for. So yeah, don’t really love the new owners. Here’s the other side of the coin though. I know rent going up SUCKS. But welcome to freakin’ Utah. Turnberry has been at the lower end or even below market value for awhile. It’s not a surprise AMC’s first action would be to raise the rent at the end of a lease term. Super frustrating for people who have lived here because they can’t afford elsewhere? Absolutely! But not entirely unexpected. In regards to the service fees— AMC, Maybe do a survey next time to see if these are benefits your tenants want before ticking everyone off? Or at least make some services optional. Like valet trash. Or covered parking. I’m willing to bet for every person that doesn’t want covered parking, there’s probably other tenants who would love two spots. My roommate and I did at one point - especially during winter. $25 a month is worth it to not have to shovel snow off cars. 😂 The reason I’ve given a 4 star review instead of 3: I still love the location and the quiet corner of the complex I live in. I also love the down-to-earth tenants here. The apartments are old, but also pretty well kept. The old management did a great job with maintenance, and while there’s room for improvement for the new maintenance crew, I feel like they’ll get there. It’s a lot of work to buy a new property. And finally a shout out to Karley and staff. AMC isn’t my favorite, but if people can calm down enough to have a civil conversation with Karley, you’ll also find that she will do everything in her power to work with and make tenants happy. It might not be a lot (she’s just the messenger in a lot of circumstances)—but she also cares about the tenants, so it’s nice to know she’s in our corner and will do what she can.

Walter and Janko are the best anytime I have a maintenance emergency they are there in a split. Great place to live at and very caring and honest people. They are very professional. Amanda and Diana the manager are top they are very easy going and great to communicate with they always find the time to talk to you and answer your questions. They are, skilled, proficient, efficient, administrative,experienced, and the friendliest. It’s a great community to be a part off,and it’s truly defined by their care and kindness that they have. You guys rock!!

This is the second time I’ve lived at the Turnberry of Holladay apartments. The first time I was here for 11 years. I moved to help a family member through a medical issue and moved back after that was done. I’ve currently been here over 2 years now. The management and maintenance team are top notch! The other place I lived was in a condo. I can tell you, the maintenance team at Turnberry is far and above what we had at the condo! Maintenance was part of our monthly HOA fees and was horrible. Maintenance requests here are handled quickly and they always fix the issue. Grounds are well kept, and snow removal in the winter is always done quickly after a storm. The management team is great to work with and really care about the residents. Quiet and respectful neighbors, great location, responsive and friendly management/maintenance team, you would be hard pressed to find a better place to live!

I have lived here for 2 1/2 years and truly appreciate the professionalism of the entire management staff. Anytime that an issue has been brought to their attention it has always been resolved immediately. Not my experience in other complexes. As an example my oven wasn't working properly. Maintenance came up within the hour and after realizing it could not be repaired a new oven was sent up on the same day. Extraordinary service. The price is reasonable and my 2 bedroom 2 bath has plenty of room. Good amount of storage space as well. just renewed for the third time.

This is a good place to live...the only gripe that my roommates and I have had is that we want to update appliances and light fixtures in our unit and want our kitchen updated as some friends in other townhomes and units have had...we feel not everyone gets treated fairly or equally or just that communication isn’t all the time ideal and both parties get frustrated. Our light fixture in the living area has a short in it and it has been requested while back to be fixed and it’s still a pain

Efforts to improve and update the complex are mostly positive. However, it seems some services have been "created" to generate income for the owners and are unwanted by longterm residents. Having to pay every month for services the residents are not using is unfair, especially for seniors on a fixed income.

I've really enjoyed living at Turnberry. Management is friendly and so quick to respond to everything. I've been especially impressed how quickly and thoroughly they handle maintenance issues. I was a little disappointed to see how much rent jumps year to year, but I guess that's life. Overall, I've had a great experience living here. The apartments and amenities are nice and well kept and all the neighbors are friendly.

Great place to live. Very nice apt complex in a central location in SLC at reasonable price. Nice community; most apts are rented by families or working professionals. The office staff is friendly, helpful and very professional. The staff helped me move in & move out very quickly and efficiently. I would certainly live at Turnberry again, and I would give a large pay raise to the entire office staff.
